Recreation Therapist 

Jobing Description:

The Recreational Therapist implements recreation/art services and programs that include treatment, leisure education and recreation services which facilitate the development of pro-social activities, self-esteem, self concept, general fitness, leisure interests, problem solving skills and trust activities according to individual patient needs within a group setting. Utilizes recreational, art, experiential, didactic and discussion formats to foster skills development. This position could support both Chandler location and Casa Grande location.

Skills / Requirements
Qualifications for this job: Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health Field or, Recreational Therapy, Expressive Therapy and/or Art Therapy. Master’s Degree preferred.. Certification in recreation or art therapy required, CTRS. Excellent verbal and written and communication skills.
