 An individual who holds current professional credentials from the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC) as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).

 Student Members:

 An individual currently enrolled in a TR educational program.

 Associate Members:

 Open to individuals who do not meet the qualifications for Professional Membership but are associated with or works in the field of TR.

 Organization Members:

 Offered to organizations interesting in promoting, supporting, and enhancing the TR profession.
