Are you interested in a career in recreational therapy?
The most qualified provider of recreational therapy services is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). To gain eligibility for credentialing through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation, individuals need to meet minimum standards which includes a bachelors degree, therapeutic recreation and supportive coursework, and fieldwork experience. Arizona offers a variety of educational pathways.
